International Students Inc. (ISI) of Rapid City is a non-denominational Christian friendship organization dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of international students and scholars at South Dakota Mines.
Ongoing Activities:
ISI Friday Nights
- International House (15 Kansas City Street)
- Meet Fridays at 6:00 pm with friends from the U.S. and around the world for a home-cooked meal, friendly conversation, and optional discussion group time. Everyone is welcome - including students of all religious and non-religious backgrounds. This is a great place to meet new friends, try new foods, and have great discussions.
ISI International Coffeehouse
- International House (15 Kansas City Street)
- Come join your international and American friends monthly for ISI International Coffeehouse and Game Night on a Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.! You can enjoy great snacks and coffee/tea over friendly conversation .... or join friends for ping-pong, pool, foosball, chess, or board game competition.

St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Student Center
The mission of the Rapid City Catholic St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Student Center is to bring young men and women to Jesus Christ, through full participation in the life of the Church, challenging them to be faithful disciples, equipping them for their vocation and Christian mission in the world.

InterVarsity is a campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty. InterVarsity is inter-denominational, student-led, and staff coached. We provide opportunities for students to encounter Jesus, build community, develop as disciples, and be witnesses while on campus.
- Join us Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of Surbeck Center for our weekly Large Group—Catalyst. Catalyst is a space for us to encourage and challenge each other as we grow more like Jesus Christ.
- Join us for a weekly Small Group Bible Study. These groups are led by trained students and meet in various locations and times on campus.

The motto of Campus Ventures is, “To figure out life and faith.” We do this through individual or small group mentoring - or discipling - relationships among Christ followers. We do this to equip university students with godly vision, character, and skills to prepare them for His Glory and service to the body of Christ.

Lutheran Campus Ministry
Lutheran Campus Ministry is a part of LuMin: TheHills, an ELCA supported Campus Ministry serving the communities of post-secondary institutions in the Black Hills of South Dakota, including South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State University.
- We meet twice a week with meals for worship and Bible study at The Luther House, across from campus at 324 E. St. Joseph Street. We also have space to study and hang out, and we host the Yarn Engineers every week.

Kingdom Sports vision is to use sports to help athletes and coaches see their need
for King Jesus and serve Him within His Kingdom.
Our ministry focus at South Dakota Mines is to create a Christ-centered community of student athletes. Providing fellowships, bible studies, and resources around their demanding schedules.
