Undergraduate Education

Science and technology industries need leaders and managers, and South Dakota Mines’ BMT degree will prepare you for those careers. By blending science and engineering courses with business and management training, the business management in technology major will ensure that you have a solid understanding of science, engineering and technology, as well as business management practices. Your education will guide you toward becoming a unique combination of manager/engineer/scientist.

In addition, 77% of students at South Dakota Mines participate in at least one major-related paid internship before graduation, receiving relevant experience that will often lead to job offers.
