Breif Bio

Dr. Choudhry is a Research Scientist in Arbegast Materials Processing and Joining (AMP) Laboratory. At the AMP lab Dr. Choudhry is working on various advanced and additive manufacturing technologies. Prior to his appointment at SD Mines, Dr. Choudhry worked as a R&D Scientist at NKT HV Cables, Sweden.

Research Expertise

Dr. Choudhry’s skills and interest fall under simulations in tribology as well as tribology testing. Finite Element Modeling, R&D and project management. Multi-scale contact mechanics, surface roughness, boundary lubrication, wear and friction behavior, mechanical testing and coatings tribology.
