Research Expertise
Research interests include: fault system evolution, deformation mechanics of continental lithosphere, and tectonic restorations. We address these topics using a variety of field and analytical techniques in key locations across western North America. See the website for ongoing projects.
Teaching
Most coursework falls within the disciplines of structural geology, tectonics, and geochronology at the upper undergraduate and graduate levels. These courses involve a combination of lecturing and reading/discussion of published papers to teach students the critical content and help them develop independent critical thinking skills.
