Public Safety Department

Public Safety is responsible for protecting the South Dakota Mines Campus community and the general-public visiting campus. The safety officers provide 24-7 support to campus year-round.

The Public Safety department employs three sworn police officers, one non-sworn senior officer, and non-sworn student officers.
