There are no easy degrees at South Dakota Mines. We expect hard work and lots of studying,
but you are not alone. The Vanderboom Office of Student Success is where you can come
to ask questions and get the help you need to figure out the answers.
Located in the Devereaux Library, Student Success is a place students can go to study, get free tutoring, meet with a Student Success Advisor, and attend workshops on time management, learning strategies, and more.
Organized under the Vanderboom Office of Student Success are: the Associate Vice President of Student Success, Student Success Advisors, the Testing Center, Career Services, and the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program. Learn more about our Office of Student Success.
There is no additional cost for these services, so please stop in. Lots of students come here both for the tutoring and for a little moral support.
