Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lance Roberts serves as the chief academic officer at South Dakota Mines. The Office of the Provost leads the university’s academic mission by overseeing undergraduate, graduate, and professional education; supporting academic priorities and institutional growth; and fostering the recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty.
