SD Mines undergraduates who remain in South Dakota for their graduate degree qualify for resident tuition status after completion of the bachelor’s degree (U.S. citizens and permanent residents only).

Minnesota residents are eligible for reciprocity benefits if you attend the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Your tuition and fees will be about the same as if you were attending a similar MN school. Reciprocity tuition rates are reviewed yearly, so students should directly contact SD Mines to determine the exact tuition rate.

The Western Regional Graduate Program Reciprocity Agreement (WRGP) makes high-quality, distinctive graduate education available to students living in WICHE states at the resident tuition rate. Click here to see if you qualify.
