Welcome to South Dakota Mines!
For first-time and transfer students, there's a lot to absorb. You're in a new place, meeting many new people, getting ready to start "the rest of your life". We try to make this fun and informative for you, with lots of support along the way.
Rocker Ready
Rocker Ready is the orientation program for first-year and transfer students that helps prepare you for the challenges you will face during your academic career here at South Dakota Mines. All new students will need to attend a Rocker Ready session prior
to the start of the semester.
